The fuzzy logic of love

  • Man: I love you :)
  • Woman: I know. You've said that a thousand times :)
  • Man: If I say it 999 times, will you feel less loved?
  • Woman: A hairy man with one less hair doesn't make him bald. So does a bald man with a single hair left won't make him hairy.
  • Man: Uhm, then when is the man bald or hairy?
  • Woman: When everyone agrees that he is.
  • Man: But everyone's opinion varies.
  • Woman: Exactly. And so do the bald, the hairy man and love, they come in degree.
  • Man: Oh, you're so complicated, darling but I love you. :)
  • Woman: I know. You've said that 1001 times. :)
